Members of the Let Me Run Charity Runners & Walkers receive a training plan from the Columbus Running Company, geared towards their race distance and their ability level.
To help further, the Columbus Running Company will provide weekly coaching emails with further tips and will offer optional group runs & walks to boost your training. You can find our full group run & walk schedule here, where you'll see that weekends are our primary focus for our long mileage days.
New to long distance racing? We'll demystify the training details and set you on the right path. An old pro at racing? We'll push you with challenging workouts and higher level guidance. As a member of the Let Me Run Charity Runners & Walkers, you have the support of CRC and its decade and a half of training program expertise.
We get it. Fundraising can be just as intimidating as training and racing. We're here to help with this aspect of your season too.
Let Me Run Charity Runners & Walkers will receive fundraising guidance, helping you to devise a strategy to maximize your efforts. Our fundraising toolkit breaks a daunting task down into manageable pieces, allowing you to start fundraising right away.
Looking for a little extra motivation? We'll be offering perks as you hit various fundraising levels, from gift cards and gear to a post-race recovery package. Once you hit $500 in fundraising, you'll even receive your Let Me Run entry into the Nationwide Children's Hospital Columbus Marathon or 1/2 Marathon.
As a group, we will be training for the Nationwide Children's Hospital Columbus Marathon on October 18. You will have the choice of either the 13.1 mile distance or 26.2.
All Charity Runners & Walkers will receive a comped entry into the race once you hit the $500 fundraising tier. In addition to earning an entry into the race, you will receive a parking pass for the morning and access to a dedicated Let Me Run tent in the finish village before and after the race.
